Christ died on that cross 2000 years ago because of the sin in the world, every person in the world has sinned and has come short of where God wants them, and each person is destined to be eternally separated from God, The Good news is that God has provided a way for us to know him through Jesus Christ, and to be with him in heaven when we die.
God calls all people to repent and turn to him. Christ died on the cross, he was buried in the tomb, but on the third day he rose from the grave to prove his power over sin and death, so that you could be set free from the power of sin, from going to hell, and be born again into God’s family. Jesus, I need you in my life. I believe that you died on the cross for my sin and that you rose from the grave, I repent of all sins, and ask you to forgive me. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Fill me with your spirit and let me hear your voice. AMEN
